Calm · Good Fortune
A quieter heart, the courage to express yourself, and a wish for good things ahead. This natural aquamarine pendant brings a soft blue stone into the familiar hulu gourd silhouette, uniting the stone’s calm spirit with a cherished Chinese symbol of peace and good fortune.
A little reassurance, close to you
Choose this necklace when you want your jewelry to carry a hopeful, personal meaning: more ease in how you feel, more courage in how you speak, and warm wishes for the people and possibilities you welcome into your life. Its small gourd form also makes a thoughtful expression of care for someone dear.
Aquamarine — calm, courage and expression
In contemporary crystal and jewelry symbolism, aquamarine is associated with calm, courage and communication. Its protective associations also draw on maritime legends. Here, that blue stone carries a gentle wish: to feel more composed, speak openly, and meet the day with reassurance.
Hulu — good fortune, peace and longevity
The double-lobed hulu, or gourd, is a familiar auspicious motif in Chinese culture. Its wishes for good fortune, peace and longevity give this necklace its Feng Shui inspired heart: a small, wearable blessing for a life you hope will feel peaceful and full of possibility.
Calm with the courage to be heard
Aquamarine’s calm and communication themes belong together. Rather than fading into the background, the feeling is one of quiet courage: being comfortable in your own voice and meeting conversations with a more open heart.
Good fortune with a wish for peace
The hulu brings an affectionate, auspicious note to the blue stone. Wear it for your own hopes, or choose it as a gift that says, “May good things find you, and may peace stay close.”
Silver — a brief material note
The chain is S925 sterling silver. In a separate historical tradition, ancient Egyptian culture associated silver with purity and the moon; the soft image of moonlight gives this secondary material note its character.
Rooted in the hulu’s Chinese auspicious tradition and complemented by aquamarine’s modern symbolism, this piece brings a tender wish for calm and good fortune to everyday wear.
Caring for your necklace
Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals. Keep it away from ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive polishing products and hard knocks, and store it separately in a soft pouch or padded box.
